9D8N A Taste of Spain’s Cities: Madrid, Toledo, Seville, Granada, Valencia, and Barcelona (ECT222124)

Welcome to Madrid! Upon arrival in Madrid, meet your driver at the airport and transfer to hotel. 

The rest of the day is free at leisure.

Today, you will have your full day exploring Madrid. 

Start your day with a visit to the Royal Palace (entrance included), followed by the Almudena Cathedral Museum and Dome (entrance included). 

Continue to check out Madrid by visiting some iconic places including: Plaza Mayor, Postas Street, Puerta del Sol, Arenal Street, Opera Square, Oriente Square, Calle Mayor, Plaza de la Villa, Codo Street, San Miguel Market, Cuchilleros Street, PuertaCerrada Square, Provincia Square, Bolsa Street, Jacinto Benavente Square, Angel Street, Santa Ana Square.

Today, you will have an excursion to Toledo. What you can’t miss is the Toledo Cathedral (entrance included). 

Enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding countryside as you take souvenir snapshots. Afternoon you could visit a local Damasquino factory, where you will see examples of Toledo’s famous Damascene metalwork. Known for its beautifully decorative swords and daggers.

Transfer back to Madrid for overnight stay.

In the morning, say to Madrid and transfer to Seville. 

Upon arrival, you will have some free time to explore Seville at your own pace with your driver-guide at your disposal. 

Today, you will transfer from Seville to Granada. 

Upon arrival, visit the legendary Alhambra, a gorgeous Moorish palace complex featuring elegant arches, intricate tilework and stunning gardens overlooking the city.

Then have a city tour of Granada to visit places like the Cathedral, Albaicin, and Plaza Bib-Rambla, etc. 

Depart from Granada and head to Valencia in the morning. Upon arrival, have a city tour of Valencia and visit places like Valencia Cathedral (entrance included) and Valencia Museum of Science (entrance included).

Today, you will visit the vibrant Barcelona. Upon arrival, enjoy some free time in the beautiful city with your driver-guide at your disposal.

Today you will have a full day exploring Barcelona. First head to the coastal area which hosted Olympic housing and features beaches and marina, followed by visiting the Olympic Stadium (entrance included).

A highlight of your Barcelona tour is the visit of La Sagrada Familia – Gaudí’s stunning unfinished basilica featuring soaring spires and intricate exterior (entrance included). Then, visit another masterpiece of Gaudi: Parc Guell.

Later, visit Montjuic by taking a cable car ride (ticket included). 

At your desired time, transfer to airport for your onward flight.
