Upon your arrival in Madrid, you will be transferred to your hotel for check in. Enjoy a comfortable start to your journey in Spain.Â
If time allows, visit some iconic places including: Plaza Mayor, Postas Street, Puerta del Sol, Codo Street, San Miguel Market, and more.
Today, you will have an excursion to Segovia. Start your tour at the magnificent Roman Aqueduct of Segovia. One of Spain’s best preserved ancient monuments, wander its deep arches. Next, visit Segovia Cathedral located in the heart of the historic center.
Walk off lunch with a stroll through the narrow streets of the old Jewish Quarter. You may also ride the funicular up the steep hillside to the stunning Alcazar of Segovia, a fairy tale castle said to have inspired Disney’s. Tour its rooms and gardens featuring medieval crafted details.
Spend your afternoon relaxing in lush sun-dappled Parque de la Fuencisla. Wrap up your visit to Segovia with breathtaking panoramic views of the town and valley below from the Mirador del Alcazar viewpoint.Â
Transfer back to Madrid.
After checking out from your hotel, transfer to Cuenca.Â
Visit the Mirador de San Pablo located at the highest point of the historic old town. You can enjoy the spectacular panoramic views of Cuenca and the deep gorge below from this vantage point. Then make your way downhill through the narrow cobblestone streets of the Casco Antiguo neighborhood, passing charming Spanish-style architecture along the way and stopping briefly to admire the Gothic cathedral. Later, transfer to Paterna. Have a brief walking tour of this beautiful town.
After check out from your hotel. Transfer to Valencia and have a tour to learn more about this city. Visit the historic center starting at Plaza de la Reina. Wander the Gothic Quarter streets. Continue to Tarragona.
In the morning, tour around Tarragona. Start your tour from the Historic Quarter. Make your way to the Roman Amphitheatre, one of the best preserved Roman ruins in Europe. Today you will have a full-day exploring the vibrant city Barcelona. Begin your morning in Las Ramblas, strolling down the bustling tree-lined promenade and taking in the street performers, florists and living statues. From there, head into the Gothic Quarter, winding your way through the narrow medieval streets and stopping to admire the grandeur of Plaça Reial.
In the afternoon, spend some time along the Barceloneta beach promenade, watching the joggers, sailors and kite surfers while snacking. Visit Park Güell to explore the vivid tile mosaics and architectural designs. Then, tour Antoni GaudÒs masterpiece Sagrada Familia basilica. End your afternoon by relaxing in the shady grounds and taking in views of the city from the Montjuïc castle.
