Itinerary

Day 1Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet our guide and drive to Arusha, where the safari begins in the afternoon.

Later, drive through the Ngorongoro Highland to your lodge on the edge of the crater. The crater covers more than 300 square kilometers of land and is home to the rare black rhinoceros, lions, elephants, cheetahs and large herds of buffalo, antelope and wildebeest.

Day 2 Ngorongoro Conservation Area (B/L/D)

Today it goes over 600 meters deep to the crater floor for a day crater tour. Explore the forest edits inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area where you can see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions are looking for food. Picnic lunches are served in the crater. Due to the low vegetation, the best photo opportunities are available here.

Day 3Eastern Serengeti (B/L/D)

After breakfast drive to Oldupai Gorge, site of the famous archaeological finds of Louis and Mary Leakey. Their discoveries include some of humanity’s oldest known remains.

Continue to Serengeti National Park for lunch. This huge park supports every species impartable , from large predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs to the smaller herbivores that hunt them. Afternoon game drive.

Day 4Eastern Serengeti (B/L/D)

Today you will spend the day on safari in this impressive national park, the Kingdom of Animals. In order to guarantee the best yield of a whole day, a picnic lunch will be prepared and you will experience the full day in the rich national park in search of the Big 5.

Day 5Lake Manyara National Park (B)

Today we drive to Lake Manyara, a jewel of Africa, is nestled in a breathtaking landscape. Surrounded by a narrow green forest belt and overlooking the majestic cliffs of the Rift Valley, it is understandable that this graceful place for Ernest Hemingway was the most beautiful he had ever seen in Africa.

Lunch at the Lodge in Manyara followed by afternoon first exciting game ride in Lake Manyara National Park, home of the tree-climbing lions. Apart from the varied landscapes such as jungle, swamp and savannah, there is also a large selection of animals such as giraffe, zebra, elephant, gazelle, hippos, monkeys and about 400 different bird species.

Day 6Arusha Departure (B/L)

After breakfast drive to Arusha. Lunch in a restaurant. Afternoon transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport to connect to your outbound flight.
